Value above replacement
COMPARE ACROSS POSITIONS
VBD estimates how many points a player adds over a usable option at the same position. It is more useful than raw points when comparing an RB to a WR or TE.
ADP as price
DON'T CONFUSE COST WITH VALUE
An early ADP means the room usually pays more. It does not prove the player will score more or fit your roster better.
Range and risk
AVOID FAKE CERTAINTY
Two players can have similar point estimates but very different outcome ranges. The wider range deserves more caution when your roster already carries volatility.

Who should I draft in fantasy football?
Use value above replacement to compare positions, then consider projection, uncertainty, roster construction and draft cost. A live recommendation should also estimate whether each player can survive until your next selection.
Should I draft the highest projected player?
Not automatically. Quarterbacks often score more raw points than other positions, but that does not make every quarterback the best early pick. Compare each player with the replacement level at his position and with what your roster still needs.
Is ADP the same as a ranking?
No. ADP measures market behavior. A model ranking estimates value. OverADP uses both: ADP describes the price and urgency, while the model and roster state help decide whether that price is worth paying.
